Jim brings managerial, start-up, operating, financial and investing experience to his role as CEO, Chairman and Founder of Jushi. Prior to founding Jushi, Jim spent over two decades managing the business and allocating capital in senior management positions at several large hedge funds; two of which were early stage success stories. Jim is Co- Founder and Managing Partner of One East Partners (US$2.3 billion (peak AUM)). Previously, Jim served as President and Co-Portfolio Manager of Sandell Asset Management (US$5.5 billion (peak AUM)) and Head of Distressed Debt for Halcyon Management, a global investment firm with over US$9 billion in assets. Jim has significant experience in private equity and operating several enterprises at the Board and management levels, including in the financial services, technology, chemicals and consumer/leisure industries. Jim earned his BA from Colgate University and his MBA from Harvard University.
Jon brings extensive financial and cannabis industry investing experience (both public and private) to his role as President, Interim Chief Financial Officer and Founder of Jushi. Jon spent over ten years in investments at various hedge funds, including five years at One East Capital Advisors where he focused on cannabis investments. Jon earned his BA from Princeton University and his JD/MBA from Northwestern University.
Leo brings vast operational experience and global supply chain management to his role at Chief Operations Officer at Jushi. Before joining Jushi, Leo served in numerous roles at Anheuser-Busch InBEV (“AB InBev”). As the Global Director of Value Creation, Global Procurement Officer, Leo led strategies focused on improving manufacturing, logistics, sourcing and operations across the company’s breweries worldwide. While at AB InBEV, Leo had the opportunity to integrate the Modelo facilities located in Mexico into AB InBEV. In addition to his positions at AB InBEV, he also served as an international consultant for McKinsey & Company, focusing on operational strategies, procurement, organizational transformations, along with supply chain and end-to-end process optimization solutions. Leo received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires in Argentina, and earned his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Olivier brings over 20 years of principal investing and corporate finance experience to his role as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Prior to Jushi, Olivier worked with Jim Cacioppo as the Senior Portfolio Manager at One East Capital Advisors. Olivier has previously held several senior roles at hedge funds including Chief Investment Officer of the Polygon Distressed Opportunities Fund, Research Director at Alden Global Capital, Partner at TPG Credit Management. Initially, Olivier worked for Jim Cacioppo as Head of European Credit Opportunities at Sandell Asset Management. Prior to those positions, Olivier concentrated on leveraged finance and rescue financing transactions at Houlihan Lokey and Credit Suisse First Boston / DLJ. Olivier received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1998.
Ryan brings extensive cannabis operations experience to his role as EVP of Operations at Jushi. Before joining Jushi, Ryan founded The Clinic™ and served as COO the last 10 years overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations including oversight of all retail, cultivation and manufacturing facilities. His background in commercial real estate and development has been crucial in the management of all construction activities. Ryan earned his degree from the University of Colorado in the School of Architecture and Planning.
Tobi brings extensive legal and human resources expertise to Jushi. Tobi served as the Associate General Counsel of KLX Inc. (formerly KLXI), where she played pivotal roles in the sale of its aerospace segment to Boeing for $4.25B and the spin-off of its energy segment into a new, publicly traded company (KLXE). Tobi earned her BS from University of Florida and JD from University of Florida – Frederic G. Levin College of Law. Tobi holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.
Matt brings invaluable cannabis industry legal expertise to his role as EVP, Co-Head of Legal Affairs at Jushi. Before joining Jushi, Matt served as General Counsel at The Green Solution, one of Colorado’s largest cannabis companies, and its related entities. Matt earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida and earned his JD from Florida State University College of Law.
Brendon is a senior retail executive, who has a proven track record of building and transforming iconic consumer and service brands. He brings decades of retail expertise to his role as EVP of Retail Operations that he refined and developed while working with companies such as Anthropologie, Rudy’s Barbershop, TOMS, David Yurman and the Gap.
Dre brings over three decades of advertising, entertainment, and technology experience to his role as Chief Creative Director. Before joining Jushi, Dre served as Creative Director and Head of Content for Idean, a leading global design agency, and was instrumental in building out Idean’s US footprint with key clients such as IBM, HP, Rolls Royce and Ericsson. Dre is also known for his photography and has worked with people/groups like Queens of the Stone Age, Iggy Pop, Foo Fighters, ZZ Top, and Lenny Kravitz.
Shaunna brings extensive commercial experience to her role as Executive Vice President of Wholesale Operations. She has demonstrated success across a diverse background of roles, product categories, and business models in the consumer product goods space. Her history includes key leadership roles in Sales and Marketing, Sales Operations and Strategy, and Category Management for companies such as Anheuser-Busch InBEV, The Hershey Company, and JUUL Labs, as well as mid-level private equity food companies. She has significant experience in the planning and development of commercial teams and strategies through various stages of growth. Shaunna is a graduate of the University of Iowa.
Michael brings vast investor relations, marketing, finance, market intelligence, and treasury experience to his role as EVP of Investor Relations at Jushi. Before joining Jushi, Michael served as head of Investor Relations and Treasurer at KLX Inc. (formerly KLXI), the world’s leading provider of aerospace fasteners, consumables, and logistics services, and KLX Energy Services (KLXE), a leading provider of oilfield services. Michael earned his BA in Finance and Economics from the University of Florida. Michael also earned his Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida.
Nichole brings invaluable experience to her role as Executive Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to Jushi, Nichole was head of Human Resources for RaceTrac Petroleum, a convenience store chain that operates over 500 company-owned retail locations with over 9,000 employees. Nichole was a founding member of RaceTrac’s Women’s organization, LEAD, and has experience building affinity groups.
Trent brings singular strategic planning and strong business acquisition and cannabis development experience to his role as Chief Commercial Director at Jushi. Trent formerly served as President of TGS National Holdings (an affiliate of The Green Solution), as well as COO at American Cannabis Company, where he worked with his clients to win state cannabis licenses. Trent earned his BS in finance from Miami University.
Robert (“Bob”) Young is an accomplished senior executive bringing more than 20 years of success across the IT, hospitality, airline, casino and high-tech manufacturing industries to his position as EVP of Information Technology at Jushi. Throughout his executive career, Bob has held leadership positions at several well-known companies such as Seminole Gaming, Southwest Airlines, Motorola, UnitedHealth Group and Harrah’s Entertainment. He was instrumental in helping the $2.3-billion Seminole Gaming and Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos realign its technology operations to increase margins and boost its bottom line. Similarly, he was impactful as Vice President and CTO for Southwest Airlines, where he led a marketing-minded tech solution by spearheading the “Business Select” fare program, a 100% IT solution. Bob earned a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University and his MBA from the University of Saint Thomas – School of Business.
